25,577. Reuther, F. B. Dec. 14. Crochet-hooks; embroidery; sewing-machine needles; seaving-needles.-Relates to hook needles for crocheting, embroidery, and for sewing- machines and other purposes. The point of the hook b lies in a recess a in the needle shank so that a loop d can slip off freely, while the thread c can be slipped under the hook as shown in Fig. 3. The recess may be central, instead of at the side as shown, and may be of various shapes. Figs. 10 and 13 show two of several examples illustrated.
