4924. Bradbury, J., Bradbury, J., Bradbury, T., and Bradbury, G. E. March 15. Sawing.-Relates to a guard for circular saws, in which the back and front shields M<1>, M<2> are supported on two pieces J<1>, J', which are capable of being adjusted on the horizontal bracket H by using set-screws K<1>, K<2> working in slots R, R<1>. The bracket H is pivoted on the end of the transverse horizontal arm F, on which are stops which retain the bracket H in horizontal position (as shown), or in the vertical position (when access to the saw is wanted). The arm F is supported by a pillar A at the back of the bench, and can be raised or lowered by a screw C and nut B. These adjustments enable the guard to be adjusted to different sizes of saws.
