Stoppers; refilling, preventing. - The stopper plug C is formed with a central aperture and a seat for the ball valve E, and is immovably fixed in the neck of the bottle, the narrower upper end D of the plug being formed with lateral ports F for the passage of the liquid. The ports F are normally closed internally by the conical valve K, and externally by the vertically - movable cap G, which is formed with external grooves or liquid passages J, H, I, arranged to prevent tampering with the valves. In a modification, these passages are formed in the bottle neck. When the bottle is inverted, the parts G, K, E fall away from their seats and uncover the ports F, to permit the outflow of the contents. When the bottle is upright, the parts are in the position shown, and prevent refilling. The bottom or neck of the bottle is made detachable, to permit the insertion of the stoppering parts, and the filling of the bottle. Subsequent to filling, the detachable bottom or neck is cemented &c. in position.
