Abstract
24,293. Goodson, J. Nov. 17. Regulators for supplying gas to burners and stoves. The supply socket b is provided with a gauze diaphragm l set below a floating diaphragm d, which carries a tube e. The tube e passes through a guide-diaphragm f, and opens into a chamber r from which the gas passes to the burner. A perforated cover g of the chamber r carries a nipple n, which acts with the tube e to reduce the supply of gas when the diaphragm rises. The parts may be variously arranged for burners of different kinds, and a regulating-screw may control one of the tubular paths for the gas.
