These tubes are closed at one end and secured within the projection L of an india-rubber block E, and at their other end are secured to nozzles, on the said block, having passages I adapted to be closed by a disc on the end of the valve tube D. When it is desired to inflate the tyre, the tube D, which engages a screwed sleeve G, is screwed back so that both it and the passages I communicate with an airtight chamber C in the rim B. Air can thus be pumped into all the tubes K by one operation, and when inflated communication between these tubes is cut off.
