Air tubes and chambers.-In a sectional pneumatic tyre, segments B<1>, B<2>, B<3>, B<4> - - fitted with inner tubes C<1>, C<2>, C<3>, C<4>, - - are mounted on the rim, and the tubes C<1>, C<2>, C<3>, C<4> - - communicate through pipes E with reservoirs formed within the wheel. In the pressedsteel wheel shown in Fig. 1, two reservoirs K<1>, K<2> are formed by the hollow felloe K and the spokes H, and in the steel disc wheel shown in Fig. 4, the reservoirs G, G<1>, G<2> occupy the space between the discs.
