Abstract
11,761. Reardon, J. A. May 24. Cataracts.-Relates to engines in which a rocking admission valve is worked through the linkage shown in Fig. 1. In order to enable the point of cut-off to be varied, a spring connection is employed in this gear. This, through the medium of an air-cataract cylinder 33, provides for automatic regulation of the speed. By the m e a n s indicated, the throw of the valve is varied whenever the speed rises or falls beyond certain limits.
