Abstract

189,648. Gausden, A. H., and Hudson, E. S. Dec. 2, 1921. Pump-actuating mechanism.-The driving shaft l of a multi-cylinder compressor is formed with an oblique wrist-pin j on a crank, carrying a revoluble slotted head r which engages a lever f connecting the piston rods e of the compressor. The lever f is of circular section. The shaft may be driven by a belt, chain, gear or friction wheels, or otherwise. According to the Provisional Specification, the drive may be effected by a cam on the shaft.
