Endless-track vehicles.- The roller-carrying plungers 6 are inclined and are protected by tubes 26, 27 between which is placed a cylindrical protective sheath 28 of leather or other flexible material. One end of the sheath is secured to the tube 26 so that it moves with the latter inside the tube 27. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the following subject-matter. The member 8 carrying the idler pulley P is pivoted at 7 to the control beam 4 and bears against a stop 9. On each end of the axle 1<11>. Fig. 4, (Cancelled), of the pulley P is mounted a gear 2<11> meshing with a gear 3<11> formed integrally with a nut 4<11> mounted on a screw 5<11> non-rotatably mounted in ears 7<11> depending from the member 8. The tension of the track is adjusted by rotating the axle 1<11> by a crank. The rollers 1<1>, Fig. 2, (Cancelled), are mounted on hollow plungers 2<1> containing springs 3<1> which bear against members 4<1> pivoted centrally to the ends of a member 5<1> which is pivotally mounted in the hollow central beam 7'. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Specification 168,331 is referred to.
