Abstract

184,620. Foster, S. G. June 3, 1921. Fly-screens.-An adjustable window screen comprises a rectangular frame formed of slidablyconnected hollow members 1 of substantially rectangular section with one side longitudinally split at 2 one flange 4 being outwardly offset, a sheet of woven wire, having diagonal strands free of attachment to each other, being secured to the frame by its edges being abruptly bent into the split 2 and hooked around the flange 3. The four corners of the wire sheet are cut away at 8 and the corners of the frame are provided with corner clips 9 which hold in position a pair of diagonal braces 11 pivoted together at their centres.
