Abstract
184,384. BrÚgeat, J. H. Aug. 24, 1921. Drawings to Specification. Coiling.-Coiled elements comprising a plurality of coaxial superposed helices or like coils such as described in Specification 171,507, [Class 55 (ii), Gas manufacture &c.], are constructed by winding the innermost helix on a rotating mandrel, superposing a second mandrel on the helix so formed, rotating the second mandrel in the same direction as the first while the feeder is reversed in direction, and then superposing a mandrel for each successive helix required and reversing the motion of the feeder ae each helix is formed.
