183,344. Hull, D. A., and Antes, C. June 30, 1921. Screw propellers; driving-arrangements for screw propellers.-In screw propeller installations in which inclined propeller shafts are carried in bearing brackets provided in pairs on the sides of the vessel, the shafts are coupled to the driving-shafts at their centres, and the blades are attached to squared portions of the shafts. The blades 5, Fig. 4, have an integral clamping- element 6 and a detachable element 9 whereby the blade can be attached to squared portions of the propeller shafts. The shafts 3, Fig. 2, are supported in brackets 2 so as to be inclined upwardly toward the bow, and have bevel-wheels '18 at the centres which are geared to cross shafts driven off the engine 11. A shaft 20 may also drive a single stern propeller,
