Treating with special material; multi-stage processes.- The wood in the form of planks is stacked in an autoclave and subjected alternately and at normal temperature to a slightly reduced atmospheric pressure and to the action of ozonized air, with or without a period of rest betwe,en the stages. The periods of treatment with the reduced pressure and ozonized air may be ten and thirty minutes respectively.
