Abstract

Seat attachments.-In a child-carrier for cycles of the type described in Specification 22765/12, the leg supports 5, Figs. 1 and 2, and wheelguard portion 3, 4 are both directly united to the seat portion 2 of the chair 1. In the formshown, the chair is supported by stays from the spindle of the rear wheel and has projecting members 9 and a nut 13 and clamping bar 12 for connecting to the frame. A pair of arcuate segments 8 are secured to the underneath part of the seat 2 and are continued as, or connected to, the side members 9. The segments 8 and the members 9 are connected by cross-plates 14, 17 respectively, which are bolted to the seat 2, the bolts having large flanged heads 20. For mounting the carrier at the front of a cycle two parallel uprights at the back of the chair clip on to the handle-bars.
