Abstract
181,189. Girdwood, J. April 15, 1921. Rolling-machines.- In a machine for moulding dough comprising a travelling band 6 and a superimposed stationary mould 11, the latter is provided with an undu ating under surface comprising transverse elevations and depressions covered with flannel, felt, &c. and mounted on a board 14 adjustable in relation to the mould. The remainder of the undersurface of the mould is preferably concave in cross-section and widens towards the outlet. The band 6 is mounted on end rollers 7, 8 of which the roll 7 is the larger so that the dough is led upwards towards a stretching-roll 9 rotating at greater speed and provided with ribs 21 and a scraper 22. Boards 26 guide the dough on the band 6.
