Abstract
In the manufacture of carbon disulphide, such iron or steel parts of the plant as come, at a temperature of 400 DEG C. or above, into contact with vapours of sulphur or of compounds containing sulphur, are preserved from attack by means of a thin coating of aluminium. A method of producing such a coating is described, but any known or suitable means may be employed.
