Abstract

179,975. Wilkins, K. Jan. 11, 1921. Building-blocks.-A through-cavity building- block consists of two concrete members A, B kept parallel and at a fixed distance apart by metal rods, each member being formed with an undercut projection at each end, three faces of the projection being continuations of three of the faces of the member. The undercut portion mav be inclined to all the three faces as shown at 1, 2, or parallel to one face as shown at 3, 4. The undercut projections may also be formed with an interlocking tongue and groove; and, in addition, concrete keying-recesses 4<1>, 5<a> may be provided.
