Building - blocks, special shapes of.- In T-shaped building-blocks, recesses 9 are formed as shown, so that the outer ends of the crosspiece of the Tare of greater width than the inner parts nearer the shank. One or both outer ends may have projections 10, and a rectangular aperture 14 is provided. The length of each projection 10 is equal to the depth of the recess 9, and the shank may be provided with recesses 11 of a depth equal to that of the recess 9, and of a length at least equal to that of the projection 10. The channels formed on assembling the blocks serve for insulating purposes, or may accommodate reinforcing rods.
