Building-blocks, special shapes of.-Building- blocks of the shape shown in Fig. 1 are made of specific relative dimensions, and other blocks are derived from the general form by omitting one or more parts of the block so that a proper bond may be made at the corners of a building. The block, Fig. 1, is formed with a portion a in the form of a square, and the length c of the side portions is equal to the breadth of the block. The side portions are offset as shown, so that the parts b<2> equal half the length of the side portions. the part b being equal to one third and the part b<1> one sixth respectively of the length of the side portions. Figs. 2 - - 6 show blocks derived from that shown in Fig. 1, the dotted portions indicating the parts omitted.
