179,743. Fleuss, H. A., and Davis, R. H. March 14, 1921. Cup-leather joints; overlap joints with packing compressed radially on assembly; with valves and cocks.-In a pump-connector a flexible sleeve, for the reception of the tyre inflation valve nipple f, and a non-return valve are formed integrally as a rubber sleeve g having at its apex a slit, or preferably two slits h at rightangles, so that on insertion of the nipple f in the sleeve g the slits h open, but close automatically when the nipple is withdrawn.
