Abstract

179,336. Crabtree, J. A. Feb. 14, 1921. Plug couplings and connectors.-In a plug coupling, in which the pins 13 are mounted on the body 1 of the plug, the leads are, additionally to their retention at the terminals 14, gripped between the body 1 and a separable member 2 located intermediately to the body 1 and the socket member of the coupling. The separable member may be a washer 2, as shown in Fig. 3, a flange 8, as in Fig. 5, or a screw 11, as shown in Fig. 6. A grip or handle 1<a> protects the terminals 14. The leads are carried through a groove 15, separated and taken through holes 14<b> to their respective terminals.
