Abstract
178,691. Kerr W. H. March 23, 1921. Moulds.-In a multiple-slab mould of the type comprising a detachable rectangular frame open at top and bottom, the ends G are provided with tenons K which are locked in elongated mortices L<1> by wedges C and stops B. On removing the wedges, the sides may be moved outwards and then the ends, thus allowing the frame to be lifted clear of the slabs. The division plates D are spaced apart by cast-iron plates H, J and have lugs E resting in slots in the ends. A hooked bar P may be used to raise the wedges and to lift the plates D from between the slabs.
