Abstract

177,200. Fraser, W. S., and Wells, C. E. Nov. 17, 1920. Plates &c., securing tubes to. - The ends of the tubes B of a superheater of the kind described in Specification 177,199, [Class 123 (iii), Steam separators &c.], are expanded into conical collars C, which are forced into conical seatings in the header by a loose bridge-piece A secured by a gibbed bolt D passing through the e partition wall of the header. The gib F is passed through a slot on the inner end of the bolt and is secured or released by a cap nut E on the outer end.
