Abstract

177,164. Zaparka, E. March 16, 1921, [Convention date]. Luggage racks and holders.-Comprises a construction of road vehicles, particularly motorcars, in which the axles are directly secured, preferably through the medium of springs, to a frame which forms the body of the vehicle and, if desired, also the engine bearer. At least the lower part of the frame is pressed from a single plate of sheet metal bent upwardly at both sides to form supports 1 terminating in steps 2, made integrally or attached. At the rear a recess is formed for the transverse axle spring 7, Fig. 2, and a luggage carrier or receptacle is formed by a bent sheet-metal plate 8.
