Abstract
176,988. Jones, R. M. Jan. 29,1921. Cells.-A storage battery cover consists of a number of sections separated transversely, the end sections 1, 3 being fixed to the electrode lugs. The sections are bevelled and flanged as shown at 12, 5 in Fig. 2 and when placed in position in the cell are completely surrounded with sealing- material. The central section 2 may be provided with a vent and filling aperture 14. Fig. 2 shows a cover made in three sections, but two or a greater number of sections may be employed.
