[Class 53] [Also in Group XVII] In order to minimize the escape of acid spray from the vent holes of an accumulator, a cap of rubber or other flexible material in the form of a flat top portion having parallel sides and semicircular ends and with a peripheral flange is adapted to be sprung on to the outer projecting end of two or more vent plugs. Preferably, a small vent hole is formed in the top portion of the cap opposite the centre of each plug. Specification 454,568 is referred to.
