Abstract

321,681. Whaite, S. C. Aug. 15, 1928. Couplings and connectors, -The threaded terminal post 10 of an accumulator is provided with a hollow nut 16 containing petroleum jelly &c. to prevent the passage of acid up the post. The nut 16 is closed by an insulating washer 18 which may be covered with a second inverted hollow nut 19 also containing petroleum jelly. The post 10 is formed with a flange 14 which abuts against a washer 15.
