Abstract

175,637. Soc. Anon. du Chocolat Moreuil, (Assignees of Vicongne, A.). Feb. 16, 1921, [Convention date]. Fixed seives.-Consists of a screening process and apparatus, in which the sieve is fixed, the material to be sifted being thrown against the sieve by a blower into which the material is introduced, the finer particles thus passing through the sieve into a chamber provided with receptacles whilst the coarser particles fall into a receiver, a bulb being provided to allow the air to escape from the chamber. The material passes to the blower 1 from a pipe 8 and is blown up the pipe 2 on to the sieve 3. The finer particles pass through the sieve and are collected in a series of bags 6 whilst the coarser particles fall into the bag 5<1> the air passing through the chamber 4 and escaping through a pipe provided with a bulb 7 which facilitates the extraction of any dust suspended in the air.
