Abstract
175,227. Bennett, R. C. Feb. 2, 1921. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Post files; covers.-Relates to loose-leaf binders of the type in which ring-carrying strips pivoted at their inner edges are enclosed in a casing and are spring-controlled into the open or closed position, and to the type of opener used with such binders comprising press studs engaging the ring-carrying strips. One or more studs 5 each with a head 6 and thickened inner end pass through a flanged opening in the back plate 4 of the cover and through the spring casing 3, the inner end bearing upon the ring-carrying strips 2. The heads 6 are covered by the binding- material of the cover.
