175,214. Setten, R. S. April 18, 1921. Folding covered boxes.-A wedding-cake postal box is formed of a cardboard shell and a metal inner container adapted to slide endways in the shell, the parts being opened out by hand from collapsed blanks. Fip. 3 shows the collapsed shell. Extensions c<2>, c<3>, Fig. 1, are folded and tucked in the ends of the shell a, and are sealed by adhesive flaps h<2>, h<3> of the postal label h. The metal inner container is bent into tray-shape from a flat blank, perforations assisting the bending, and has a metal lid. An adhesive lining of cardbeard may be placed in the container.
