Block tyres.- Resilient tread blocks 6 are secured in recesses 5 formed in a rim 1 adapted to be detachably mounted on the wheel. The recesses are formed by transverse partitions 4, a fixed flange and a removable flange. The blocks are formed with lips 8 which engage projections 7 on the partitions.
