Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. - To avoid the use of an intermediate rim, the metal foundation-band 2 of a rubber tyre 1 is secured directly, as by set-screws 9, to the flanged edge 3 of a wheel disc 4, Fig. 1; to the flanged ends 5 of metal spokes 6, Fig. 2; or to flanged caps 7 fitted on the ends of wood spokes 8, Fig. 3.
