Electric-lamp lanterns; head lamps, personal.- A portable electric lamp adapted to be connected to an accumulator by flexible conductors f comprises a casing made in two parts g, j, the part j which holds the lens, reflector and incandescent bulb m being movable, as by screwing, upon the part g whereby the electric circuit can be made or broken by bringing the central contact of the bulb into or out of contact with the terminal h of one of the leads f. This terminal is insulated from the casing and is resilientlv supported by a rubber ring i. The other lead is connected to the lamp casing. A clip q enables the lamp to be supported upon the user's cap or belt, or upon parts of machinery &c. under inspection, or upon the battery casing.
