Abstract

173,550. Tinker, F. J. July 22, 1920. Air tubes and chambers. - A series of interfitting air-chambers 2 connected by external sleeves 8 is fitted within an ordinary tyre cover 1. Each chamber 2 is formed, at its forward end, with a tubular extension 3, having an enlarged shoulder 5 fitting a re-entrant boss 6 on the adjacent chamber. The free end of each tube 3 is formed with a flange 4 adapted to seat on the inner tread portion of the enclosing chamber 2.
