173,473. Etablissements MÚtallurgiques de la Gironde. Dec. 30, 1920, [Convention date]. Addition to 163,264. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Handles.-A tubular handle formed, as described in the parent Specification, of brass, is secured to an aluminium saucepan or the like by a support c of aluminium cast around the lower end of the handle. The arms A of the handle are plugged and perforated as shown so that the molten aluminium fills the lower part of the handle and also the holes, thereby anchoring the handle in position. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes the handle as being of any metal of lower thermal conductivity than aluminium. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
