Abstract
360,575. Handles for cooking utensils. HAGUE & McKENZIE, Ltd., HAGUE, R. B., and VEITCH, T. N., Sloane Street, Birmingham. Sept. 22, 1930, No. 28206. [Class 66.] A cooking vessel handle of flattened tubular form terminates in a cylindrical attachment part 9, formed with perforations 11 or depressed or cutaway portions, which is secured within a flanged aluminium or other attachment member 5, 6, during the casting thereof. Flow of metal into the body of the handle is prevented by a plug 12 held in place by the formation after the insertion of the plug of an annular groove 13. The part 9 may extend through the attachment member so as to abut the surface of the vessel. According to the Provisional Specification the handle proper may be of flat strip metal reduced in width at the attachment end.
