Abstract

Adjusting forecarriages for steering. - In a tractor in which the front. and rear axles are both driven and are carried by frames pivoted together, steering is effected by means of worm-operated rack and pinion gear. The front frame B is provided with a segmental rack 1 in mesh with a pinion 4 carried by a member 12 and operated by worm gearing from a shaft 7 actuated by bevel gear from the steering column 10.
