Abstract

172,432. Fink, C. E. Sept. 16, 1920. Vehicle lamps.-A vehicle head-light comprises a casing A which extends forwardly in the form of a visor or hood 2, the edge of which is in line with the centre of a lamp bulb C. A shield 4 is secured in front of the bulb C and a reflector B extends from this shield round the bulb C, where it is of parabolic form and is continued to form a reflective lining for the visor 2. A glass front 5 is held in position by a flange 7 and fits a groove 6 in the reflector B. To support the lamp on the lamp brackets, plates 9 are pivoted at 10 to the casing A and have slots 11 in which are adjustably secured bolts 12 threaded in the casing, so that the angular position of the lamp may be varied. Sleeves on the plates engage the lamp brackets and are secured in position by bolts.
