Abstract

172,180. Baral, K. T. Oct. 6, 1920. Brush stocks.-A brush comprises a back 1 having a recess 12 to receive a brush stock comprising two sections 5, 6 provided with spaced bristlecarrying members 9, the brush back being provided w i t h a spring - pressed latch 16 and socket 13 for engagement respectively with a notch 15 and stud 14 formed on the brush stock. The ends of the bristle-carrying members 9 are prefera b 1 y bevelled, as shown at 10, to engage with undercut edges 11 formed on the side portions 7 of the sections 5, 6. The sections are preferably made of metal to withstand a sterilizing degree of temperature and the action of cleansing-compositions. The side portions 7 may also carry bristles.
