to a toothbrush so formed as to simultaneously brush both the inside and outside of a row of teeth.
The nature of the invention and its distinctive features and advantages will clearly appear as the description proceeds.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, it being understood that the drawings are merely illustrative of practical examples of the invention.
Figure 1 is a perspective View of a toothbrush embodying my invention;
Figure 2 is a cross section on the line 2-2, Figure 1.
In carrying out my invention in practice an elongated handle 10 is provided which may be of anysuitable shape, the front end 11 of which has brush backs 12 having bristles 13. The brush backs 12 are disposed in planes at angles to each other with the outer surfaces of the backs disposed laterally outward and their inner surfaces opposed and in flaring relation. Bristles 13 project from the inner faces at right angles to the planes of the backs 12 but the terminals of the bristles of each back lie in the same plane, the planes of the terminals of the opposed bristles being disposed adjace-nt to the medial longitudinal plane of the brush.
The described arrangement is effective in thoroughly cleaning both sides of a row of teeth.
The brush backs 12 are detachable from the handle for renewal or other thorough cleaning of the brushes proper for which purpose the brush backs are formed with tenons 14 which are threaded and received in the oblique threaded holes 15 formed inv considerably varied without departure from the spirit of the invention as defined in the ap )ended claim.

A toothbrush including a handle having a pair of threaded sockets therein intersecting the front surface of said handle, brush backs having threaded tongues detachably fitting said sockets and projecting from said front surface, said backs having opposed bristles.
