Brake mechanism. - In brake mechanism for cycles &c. employing wire connections m, n connected to the outer ends of rotary grips r, these grips, mounted directly on the handle-bars and having each a pin s in engagement with an inclined slot t in the handle-bars, are used in combination with screw-threaded nipples k, l engaged by screw-threaded nuts or extensions i, j on connections g, h leading to the brake blocks, springs p, q being provided between said nuts or extensions and the handle-bars. The parts i, j movein guides a, b clipped to the handle-bar stem.
