Abstract
171,007. Pazos, M. Sept. 15, 1920. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Laminar springs.-The axle end of a cantilever suspension spring 2 for a motor or other vehicle is strengthened by means of a series of auxiliary leaves 9 interposed between the leaves of the main spring and secured with the main spring to the axle 7, the use of torque members connecting the axle and chassis being rendered unnecessary. Spaces 13 are provided between the auxiliary leaves and the corresponding main leaves. The combined spring is secured to the axle seat 12 by a plate 11 and straps 10.
