167,883. Bedford, W. H., and Brabin, S. May 25, 1920. Dust-collectors.-A vacuum cleaning-apparatus for boiler flues &c. comprises a dust-depositing chamber into which the dusty air is led by a pipe, and which is maintained under vacuum by an ejector; the chamber is provided with a valve by which the vacuum is partly or wholly broken in order to remove the dust. As shown, the chamber a is exhausted by an ejector b through a canvas or other strainer h and is mounted on a wheeled frame. A counter-weighted hinged rubber-faced door d at the bottom allows removal of dust &c. when the vacuum-breaking valve c is opened.
