166,565. Wojciechowski, E. March 16, 1917. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Dampers for controlling superheaters.-In a boiler having upper and lower drums 1, 2 connected by a front group of curved tubes 3 and a rear group of either straight or bent tubes 5, a superheater 6 is placed in the space between the groups, and a damper 14 is fitted to control the passage of gases through the superheater. Similar groups of tubes oppositely arranged and with a superheater between the groups may be connected to a second lower drum and to the upper drum. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 28961/96, 18070/97, 10873/00, 7175/06, and 14771/06.
