Abstract

165,251. Hadley, A. April 9, 1920. Bracelets.-An expansible link chain, bracelet, &c. in which each link comprises a central sliding portion having a spring acting against a cross-bar of an outer link member, has the central member a of each link formed as a loop which can be opened at one point to enable it to be hooked on the cross-bar of the adjacent link, so that the size of the bracelet may be easily altered or faulty links replaced. The loop a has lugs b for engagement with grooves in the outer members in the usual manner, and has its bottom bar divided with the ends overlapping. One end forming the hook has the metal struck up at the sides d forming a notched recess on its inner face in which a T- head e on the other end engages. When a link is being taken out, the bracelet is extended and the tongue member e pressed inwards to open the loop.
