Bricks, special shapes of.-Blocks for use in the construction of flues and fireplaces are formed hollow, those for the fireplace C having three sides and those for the flue A four sides. The short ends of the blocks C are adapted to embrace the fire-place, and the blocks A are then superimposed to form the flue. For the purpose of restricting the passage of the flue or for corbelling over, blocks B with a single inclined inner wall are used and may be laid in various ways to produce the results desired.
