Abstract

File &c. end handles; grip, facilitating; guards; handles or holders for files and the like. -A handle for files, rasps, &c. of the selfhandled type is made from bent sheet metal so as to grip the handle or tang end of the file, and has protecting guards. A sheet-metal blank is bent along a. central line B to form the two sides A which embrace and grip the handle end of the file D. Projecting lugs E may be left for bending down further to secure it. Guards F are bent up from the front end to prevent injury from the file slipping when in use. Holes G may be made to improve the grip of the hand on the handle.
