Milling-cutters.-A milling &c. cutter is made by cutting teeth on the surface of a flat strip of high-speed steel, and then bending the strip into a complete cylindrical form and mounting the same on a body part. The teeth may be axial or helical. The toothed-strip A may be secured to the body B by brazing, and the hardening of the teeth may be combined with the brazing operation. The strip may also be secured by clamping a split grooved rim B<1> thereon by nuts B5.
