Abstract

161,719. Poyser, G. W. Jan. 22, 1920. Adjustable handles; pivoted handles.-A brush head is attached reversibly and. adjustably to its handle, by means of a spring bolt d which normally maintains a flat part a<1> of the brush stock in engagement with the flat part b<1> of the handle,. and a raised plate c in engagement with either of the recesses e, e<1> by which the brush head is held in the required position and may be readily reversed. The spring f lies in a recess in the handle, and is held on the bolt by a removable slotted washer g engaging the end of the bolt. In a modification the bolt is on the handle and passes through a hole in the brush stock.
