Abstract

280,067. Myers, R. R. Jan. 22, 1927. Fixing by chuck-grip sockets; pivoted handles with clamping-devices for brushes.-The head 20 of a toothbrush is provided or formed with a circular stud 25 adapted to be gripped by a circular portion 11 of a clamping device 10 which is provided with a screw-threaded stem 18 for engagement with a nut 19. By rotating the nut the device 10 is moved relatively to the wall of a metal member 6 secured to the end of the handle and thereby the pressure of the device 10 is adjusted.
